Qualified applicants are invited to apply for the current and upcoming 2024鈥�2025听school year. Applicants are required to apply online using our electronic application process for consideration for our Elementary Teaching Eligible to Hire (ETH) list and Occasional Teaching opportunities. New applications will be accepted starting on January 1, 2024, and will remain active for the calendar year. Only one application is accepted per person each calendar year.

While applications are accepted at any time, we encourage you to apply in January and February to be considered for early interviews.

Application Process

Applicants are required to submit the following documents (in pdf or rich text formats) only:

• Online application form
• Cover letter addressed to Sam Venneri - Interim Manager,Talent Acquisition
• Resume (maximum two pages)
• Copy of Certificate of Qualification (Faculty of Education students must provide a copy of certification upon graduation. Please contact the Ontario College of Teachers for further information)
• Copies of practice teaching reports (faculty students) OR teacher evaluation reports (experienced teachers) Reference letters (optional)
• Reference letters (optional)

Please ensure you list a minimum of two supervisory references who have supervised you in a teaching capacity within the last 5 years.

If you are unable to upload your supporting documents, please email them on ElementaryTeachingRecruitment@tdsb.on.ca.

Complete your online application within 48 hours of starting or it will expire. Once submitted, you can make changes to it using your applicant ID number and password.

Each calendar year is a new recruitment year. All applicants must complete the 2024 application.

Acknowledgement and Interview Process

• Once you have submitted your application, you will receive the acknowledgement message "Your application has been successfully submitted".
• All applications will remain active for the calendar year.
• Selection for an interview is based on the applicant's package in reference to the 吃瓜黑料网 system priorities for the school year.
• Due to the high volume of candidates, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.

• Candidates interested in applying for French vacancies must have a French Fluency assessment. If you have not had a French Fluency Assessment, please email听Shenyu.Huang@tdsb.on.ca听and Mellisa.Ferrigon@tdsb.on.ca听to schedule an appointment.
• When applying to the contract vacancy postings, applicants MUST complete the 鈥�2024听Contract Vacancy Application Form鈥� and submit the application form, a copy of their Eligible to Hire letter and a copy of the OCT certificate via E-MAIL directly to the principal.
