Stacey Zucker is the Interim Director of Education for the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø (³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø). Previously, she was the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø’s Associate Director, Modernization and Strategic Resource Alignment. In this role, she oversaw complex, multi-disciplinary portfolios, including finance, facilities and capital management, information technology and transportation.Ìý
With more than 20 years of experience in education, Stacey joined the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø after serving as the Associate Director, Support Services at the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, where she oversaw the budget and capital planning process, information technology, and student transportation.ÌýShe has also worked with the Halton Catholic District School Board.Ìý
Originally from Labrador and a beneficiary of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement, she is the daughter of a residential school survivor and has a personal understanding of the Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Stacey is accredited as a Certified Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant, and she has also earned an Ontario Public Supervisory Officers’ Certificate.
