Integrated Summer School & Orientation Program

³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø offers this uniquely designed free program to all new and returning secondary international students joining the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø for the September intake, and existing Grade 8 international students transitioning to Grade 9 are also welcome to participate. This 4-week program is normally offered in the month of August each year, and students can choose one course from the following list of exciting learning opportunities:

The 2025 program will be offered at Earl Haig Secondary School (100 Princess Ave, North York, ON M2N 3R7).

The program is not mandatory, but we strongly encourage that all eligible students can take advantage of this great learning opportunity to familiarize themselves with the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø system, know more about their school communities, make some new friends, and be fully prepared for the start of a new school year while improving English language skills and earning an invaluable credit.

Reporting Dates: July 14-25, 2025

ESL (ESLAO/BO/CO/DO/EO)

This course extends students’ English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing for everyday and essential academic purposes, and provides students with the skills and strategies they need to make the transition to college and university preparation courses in English and other secondary school disciplines.

Designing Your Future: Grade 11 (GWL3O)

This course prepares students to make successful transitions to postsecondary destinations as they investigate specific postsecondary options based on their skills, interests, and personal characteristics.
