As a high school science听student, you can study biology, chemistry, earth and space science, and physics. Courses prepare you for specialist studies in science and technology-related fields and help develop problem solving and critical thinking skills. Science curriculum is designed to promote three overall goals:
- to understand the basic concepts of science
- to develop the skills, strategies and habits of mind required for scientific inquiry
- to relate science to technology, society and the environment
