Advisory Committees
The 吃瓜黑料网 has adopted a consultative approach around the issue of sustainability and climate action. This approach has been critical to engaging stakeholders, such as trustees, Board management, union representatives, teachers, parents, students and community partners. At present, two main platforms allow 吃瓜黑料网 stakeholders to have a say in environmental policies, plans and projects being implemented at Board level:
- Environmental Sustainability Community Advisory Committee (ESCAC)

The 吃瓜黑料网's Environmental Sustainability Community Advisory Committee (ESCAC) is part of a network of community advisory committees and was established in 2010 to help inform the 吃瓜黑料网's environmental policies and programming.

Membership is open to trustees, Board staff, students, parents and community members.

- Joint Management-Labour Environmental Committee (JMLEC)

The 吃瓜黑料网's Joint Management-Labour Environmental Committee (JMLEC) was established in 2018 to leverage the knowledge that 吃瓜黑料网 workers have of their workplaces and work processes and to link that expertise with the broader knowledge of management.

With membership representing the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation Toronto (OSSTF), the Elementary Teachers
of Toronto (ETT), CUPE 4400, the Maintenance and Construction Skilled Trades Council and 吃瓜黑料网 management, the committee
aims to enhance the 吃瓜黑料网鈥檚 environmental sustainability initiatives and to reduce the 吃瓜黑料网鈥檚 greenhouse gas
emissions.
