This past weekend, SATEC’s F1 in Schools team, “Nitro Racing,” competed at the , and what a weekend it was!
Nitro Racing earned the Best Verbal Presentation Award, the Best Video Challenge Award, the Best Provincial Championship Award, and, last but not least, SATEC was crowned Best Canadian Team, placing first overall out of more than ten Canadian teams from across the country, spanning from British Columbia to Quebec—the largest number of Canadian teams ever to compete!
Months of hard work paid off, and we extend heartfelt congratulations to the outstanding team: team manager Joel Sam Binish, along with teammates Ramisa Obaid, Antonis Kefallonitis, Arun Rajakumar, and Arunavo Barua. A special thanks goes to Ms. Connie Yung, Staff Advisor, for her dedication and unwavering support of the team.
Next, Nitro Racing will represent SATEC at the National Championship, competing in the North American Championships, scheduled for April 7–10, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Let’s bring home another win!
