Education Week kicks off today, Monday, May 2. During Education Week, we celebrate incredible things happening every day in our classrooms, schools and across the 吃瓜黑料网. The pandemic has been an incredibly challenging, uncertain and difficult time, but we have also grown, changed and learned. And, it is exciting to be celebrating so many great things and seeing our students back in action, being engaged in their learning and connected to their community.

What have we been up to lately? 

• Focused on mental health and well-being (it’s also Children’s Mental Health Week, this week!) 
• Furthered our commitment to equity, anti-racism and anti-oppression through curriculum resources, professional learning, the launch of the Student Learning Strategy and collaborative work with the Urban Indigenous Education Centre and the Centre of Excellence for Black Student Achievement
• Reached an amazing fundraising milestone of $14,000,000 for our continued efforts in the Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research
• Launched the Technology Access for All campaign to help close the digital divide
• And so much more!!
